Library Events

The Ronald E. McNair High School Library is more than just a place for books—it’s a vibrant space where students and staff come together to learn, explore, and connect through engaging events and programs.
This school year, the library is hosting a variety of interactive events designed to support academic success, promote literacy, and build a strong school community. From themed reading challenges and author spotlights to tech workshops and student-led book clubs, there’s something for everyone!
Upcoming Highlights Include:
  • Monthly Maker Mondays – Hands-on creativity with crafts, coding, and design.
  • Book Tastings – Discover new genres and authors in a café-style setting.
  • Digital Literacy Days – Learn how to navigate online tools and research resources.
  • Student Voice Panels – Share your thoughts on books, media, and school culture.
All events are open to students and staff, and many are integrated with classroom instruction to enhance learning in fun and meaningful ways.
Stay tuned for flyers, announcements, and updates via Clever and the school newsletter. We can’t wait to see you in the library!
Let’s make this year one to remember—together, in the heart of our school: the library.
